Maskinregisteret

Det norske registeret for arbeidsmaskiner

The machine register is an electronic register where information about work machines and equipment is collected in one place. The system can be compared with the vehicle register of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.

The register stores technical information about the machine, information about the legal owner, landlord and machine user, declaration of conformity, expert control, etc.

With such a register, information can be shared and coordinated between the actors, simplify the work for all parties and help prevent work environment crime.

Behind the Machine Register is a unified industry with EBA, MEF and MGF at the forefront.

Solutions are developed for service / maintenance and daily control that can easily be registered with a mobile phone or tablet.

Machine user / contractor gets a unique overview of all their machines on reginn.no . It is also possible to connect your own administration systems to the register free of charge.

It costs NOK 1000 + VAT per machine to register the machine and this lasts as long as the machine is in the same ownership. When selling the machine, the new legal owner will pay a new registration fee.

When you buy a new or used machine from a dealer, the machine will automatically be registered and the legal owner will be charged the registration fee.

There are no other costs associated with using the system. This applies to all players in the industry. The registration fee finances all development and operation of the Machine Register.

The declarations of conformity gathered in one place, forever.

You no longer need to look for the declaration of conformity when you need it. It can be registered in the system and will never be lost again.

It costs a lot of time and money for both the machine user and the dealer when it comes to finding a lost declaration of conformity.

When purchasing a new machine, the dealer can enter a declaration of conformity on both the main machine and additional equipment.

It provides great benefits for both machine users and inspectors to use the Machine Register for electronic expert control.

An expert inspector from the machine supplier will register all machines that are not already registered from the dealer or machine user.

If the machine has not been registered before, there will be an invoice of NOK. 1000, – + VAT per machine from the Central Register. This is a one-time cost.

When the machine is registered, all expert checks are sent to the machine user by e-mail and the machine user finds all previous checks on reginn.no.

You no longer need documentation on paper in the machine and a control sheet is not required either. Everything is stored electronically and can be read out through the QR code.

The feature allows for electronic access to machine information.

This mark is located both on the outside and inside of the machine. The mark contains the machine’s registration number and an associated QR code.

Anyone can scan the QR code on the machine and get basic information about the machine.

An expert inspector scans this code to perform the inspection and the operator will be able to perform the daily inspection.

The mark is made to be attached to all surfaces, in all temperatures and withstand harsh treatment.
